Next, we need to delete all temporary files.

Internet
Explorer Temporary Files

Open
Internet Explorer

Click
Tools > Internet Options
-
Select
Delete Files.

Select
Delete all offline content. Click Ok. This may take several
minutes. Try not to use your computer during this process.

Delete
Cookies

Located
next to Delete Files in Internet Options Window. Click OK

Temp Files

Tools > Folder Options

Click
View Tab at top of window

Click
Show all Files. Click Ok.

Computer > C > Documents and Settings > “Username”
> Local Settings > Temp > Select and Delete all files.

Some
files may not be able to delete.

Unselect file which cannot be deleted and continue deleting
the rest of the files.
- Use CNTL ALT DEL to access Task Manager look for remaining
files under the Processes Tab. End Task processes. Delete from
Temp Folder. If unable to delete, move on.
- If multiple users exist this must be performed in each user’s
temp folder.

Computer > C > Documents and Settings > “Username”
> Local Settings > Temporary Internet Files > Delete
any remaining Files and Folders. If unable to delete, move on.

Computer > C > Windows or Winnt > Temp > Delete
all files. If unable to delete, move on.

Downloaded
Program Files

My
Computer > C > Windows or Winnt > Downloaded Program
Files.

Click
View > Details.

Delete
all Damaged or Unknown files.

Delete
those that should not belong.

This
is tricky – The names are usually, though not always,
descriptive.
If you are not sure, delete it. If you ever need it again,
it should automatically request to be dynamically installed.
Just like spyware.
